Former Roma head coach Jose Mourinho has declared that he will never work with the ex-director of the Italian club, Tiago Pinto.
Mourinho was quoted by Corriere dello Sport as saying:
What he says, thinks or sells means little to me, to say the least. I'm not the least bit interested. No, of course not. In this case, it is impossible.
Recall, Pinto previously said that he “felt like dying” when he made the decision to dismiss Mourinho. The official left the Italian club in February of this year.
It is worth noting that the club from the capital of Italy announced Mourinho's dismissal in mid-January. The Portuguese took over Roma in the summer of 2021, and by the end of the 2021/2022 season, he led the club to victory in the UEFA Conference League. In the following season 2022/2023, the Romans reached the final of the Europa League, losing to Sevilla.
Earlier, Mourinho left a message for the Roma players after his dismissal. The Portuguese coach also admitted that his departure from the Italian club caused him pain.
