Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric still hopes for the possibility of staying at the Madrid club. Journalist Fabrizio Romano reported that the 38-year-old Croatian rejected two big offers from other clubs.
It was previously known that Modric offered to reduce his salary for Real in order to stay with the team, and is also willing to remain a rotational player. His contract with the club runs until June 30, 2024.
Modric, one of the three most decorated players in Real's history with 25 trophies, played 43 matches for los Blancos in all competitions this season, scoring two goals and providing eight assists.
