Croatian midfielder of Real Madrid Luka Modric named the players of Real Madrid who will compete for the Golden Ball in 2024.
The midfielder himself won the main individual football award in 2018. The last Real Madrid player who won the France Football prize was Karim Benzema in 2022. In 44 games this season, Modric has scored two goals with eight assists.
COPE quotes the Croatian midfielder as saying:
Ballon d'Or? Someone from Real Madrid surely (laughs). My favorites are Vinicius, Bellingham, and Kroos. I would like Toni to win it, he's my friend.
