The official website of English Premier League (EPL) club Liverpool announced the impending departure of four players of the main squad of the Reds during the summer transfer window.
Midfielders James Milner, Naby Keita, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and forward Roberto Firmino will leave the team. Firmino, 31, and Milner, 37, have played for the Reds since 2015, Keita, 28, since 2018, and Oxlade-Chamberlain, 29, since 2017. Their contracts expire at the end of the 2022/2023 season.
Firmino has played in 23 games this season, scoring nine goals and providing four assists. Milner has one goal in 29 games played and Oxlade-Chamberlain has one goal in nine games. Keita had no scoring in eight games played.
Liverpool has earned 65 points in 36 EPL games played under Jurgen Klopp, ranking fifth in the standings.
