The match between Mexico and Poland kicked off at 16:00 GMT at the 974 Stadium in Doha. The match is officiated by an Australian team of referees headed by Chris Beath.

The teams played the first 45 minutes without scoring a goal and didn't shoot on goal. Mexico held a 60 percent advantage in ball possession compared to 40 percent for Poland.

In addition to Mexico and Poland, Group C of the World Cup is represented by Saudi Arabia and Argentina, who have already played a head-to-head game that ended in a 2-1 win for the Saudis.
