Lionel Messi, a product of Barcelona's youth academy, played for the Catalan club from 2005 to 2021. During his time there, he made 778 appearances, scoring 672 goals and providing 303 assists. With Barcelona, he won ten La Liga titles, seven Copa del Rey trophies, and eight Supercopa de España titles, along with four UEFA Champions Leagues, three UEFA Super Cups, and three FIFA Club World Cups.
Messi has been with Inter Miami since 2023, scoring 42 goals and providing 21 assists in 49 matches across all competitions. His contract with Inter Miami runs until the end of December 2025, and the 37-year-old forward's market value is estimated at 20 million euros, according to Transfermarkt.
Earlier, Barcelona goalkeeper and German international Marc-André ter Stegen disclosed that he had most conflicts with Messi during their time at the club. In other news, Inter Miami owner David Beckham revealed that Messi plans to return to Barcelona after retiring as a player.
