Journalist Ramon Alvarez de Mon reported that Kylian Mbappe, the 25-year-old forward for Real Madrid and the French national team, earns approximately €36 million annually, including bonuses.
The source indicates that Real Madrid expanded their salary budget after the departure of German midfielder Toni Kroos, who earned around €20 million, striker Joselu who made about €2 million, and central defender Nacho Fernandez who had a salary of €10 million.
Additionally, the club received extra funds when 39-year-old Croatian midfielder Luka Modric renewed his contract with Real last summer, agreeing to a pay cut from €24 million to €12 million.
Mbappe joined Real Madrid in the summer of 2024 and has since played 15 matches, scoring eight goals and providing two assists. His contract with the club runs until 2029, and according to Transfermarkt, his market value is estimated at €180 million.
