Fayza Lamari, the mother of French PSG striker Kylian Mbappe, has revealed that her son feels no guilt towards Real Madrid for the situation in 2022.
The Frenchman was close to signing with the Spanish club but ended up staying with the Parisians, who offered him a €300 million signing bonus and a fee of €100 million per season.
RMC Sport quoted Lamari as saying:
It's millions. There is no guilt, no shame. If we could have taken €10 billion, we would have taken it because it is the system that wants it.
