Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappe commented on the team's victory over German side Stuttgart (3-1) in their first UEFA Champions League match.
Mbappe said, as reported by Movistar:
The game was difficult. They play well and we had problems playing and getting the ball from behind. We put pressure on, played our game and scored the first goal quickly. The match was a box to box and they tied. I know I'm going to do more. Every game I feel better and now I score goals. I am happy here.
Mbappe joined Real Madrid last summer as a free agent and has participated in seven matches across all competitions, scoring five goals. The contract for the 25-year-old forward extends until the summer of 2029. Transfermarkt currently estimates his market value at €180 million.
Earlier, Jude Bellingham addressed speculation about his difficult relationship with teammates Kylian Mbappe, Rodrygo Goes, and Vinicius Junior. Cadena SER reported that many within Real Madrid are reportedly unhappy with Vinicius Junior's behavior.
