The forward of the France national team, Kylian Mbappe, shared his comments after the defeat to Spain in the semi-final of Euro 2024 (1-2).
Mbappe was quoted by RMC Sport as saying:
My competition? It was difficult. It was a failure. We had the ambition to be European champions; I had the ambition to be European champion. We aren't that, so it's a failure.
The semifinal match of the 2024 European Football Championship between Spain and France took place on July 9th, with Spain winning 2-1. The final of the championship will be held on July 14th. Spain will face the winner of the second semi-final match, to be determined on July 10th.
Earlier reports indicated that Kylian Mbappe showed maximum speed among all footballers in the 2024 European Championship.
