French striker Kylian Mbappe is demanding a salary of €70 million a year from Real Madrid, according to Bild.
According to the source, at this stage of negotiations los Blancos and 25-year-old forward are discussing the financial terms of the contract. It is noted that Real Madrid are not willing to pay Mbappe the required amount and offer only half as much - €35 million.
As previously reported, the Frenchman decided to leave PSG and join Real Madrid. Kylian believes he has a better chance to win the Champions League with the Madrid club.
Fayza Lamari, Mbappe's mother, said in a recent interview with RMC Sport that her son does not feel guilty towards the Madrid club for the situation from two years ago, when he chose PSG with a more lucrative contract. The forward said he deserves the money he earns.
