Spanish publication Marca conducted a study, analyzing the speed performance of different sport representatives, comparing them with the record of the legendary Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt.
During the study, a simulation of the 100 meters run by different athletes was conducted, taking the maximum recorded speed of each athlete as a basis. Among others, this simulation included football players Kylian Mbappé (PSG) and Erling Haaland (Manchester City), basketball player Russell Westbrook (Los Angeles Lakers), and tennis player Novak Djokovic.
As a result, Kylian Mbappé turned out to be the fastest athlete in the 100-meter run, with 11 seconds. The Frenchman is 1.42 seconds behind Bolt's record. Haaland, with a score of 11.06 seconds, was behind Djokovic, and Westbrook, known for his explosive speed and athleticism, was the slowest competitor in the simulated sprint.
