Former national French team player and current manager Thierry Henry suggested five ideas to improve modern football, reports Marca.

Henry told the media that referees must talk to the press after matches to explain their mistakes and assess their performance. He also suggests appointing a 25-meter shot from any point of the field if the players refuse to play, stall or kick the ball out of bounds.

The coach proposes awarding one point to the teams that score three goals or more, regardless of the outcome of the match. Sporting directors are encouraged to personally meet with potential team players. Henry also believes that teams should be allowed to make additional substitutions if one of the players is injured and given medical attention.

Henry has worked in the coaching staff of Arsenal London, and the Belgian national team after beginning his management career. He also led Monaco and the Montreal Impact.
