According to Rantsports, English club Manchester United may be excluded from participating in European competitions next season due to new co-owner of the Red Devils, Jim Ratcliffe.

According to UEFA rules, the teams with the same owner are not allowed to participate in the same tournaments. In addition to Manchester United, Jim Ratcliffe's company owns French club Nice.

Both teams are in the zone for European competitions in their national divisions. Manchester United is in sixth place in the English Premier League, while Nice is in fifth place in Ligue 1.

One of the new co-owners of Manchester United, Sir Jim Ratcliffe, is impressed with the work of head coach Erik ten Hag and hopes to keep the specialist at least until the end of the season.
