The club will continue to monitor Rodri's condition to assess the severity of the injury and provide an estimate regarding his return to action.
Rodri sustained the injury on September 22 during a match against Arsenal in the fifth round of the English Premier League (EPL), which ended in a 2-2 draw. Following the match, reports emerged that the Spaniard might have torn his anterior cruciate ligament, potentially sidelining him for the remainder of the 2024/25 season.
Rodri has been a player for Manchester City since July 2019. He has participated in 260 matches for the English top club, scoring 26 goals and providing 30 assists. His contract with the Citizens runs until the end of June 2027.
