Manchester City has officially announced the return of midfielder Ilkay Gundogan from FC Barcelona on a free transfer.
The 33-year-old left the Etihad to join Barcelona in the summer of the 2022–2023 season, ending his seven-year spell at the Etihad Stadium. Gundogan won 14 trophies in his first spell at the Etihad, scoring 60 goals in 304 appearances.
