English Premier League club Manchester City is looking to extend their collaboration with Spanish head coach Pep Guardiola, as reported by the Daily Mail.

Sources indicate that the club's management aims to sign a long-term contract with the City manager. It is emphasized that there will be no pressure on Guardiola from Manchester City, allowing the coach to make decisions about his future with the team.

Guardiola took the helm at Manchester City in 2016, leading the club to six EPL titles, two FA Cup wins, two Community Shield victories, four EFL Cup triumphs, the UEFA Champions League title, the UEFA Super Cup, and the Club World Cup victory.

The current agreement between the Spanish coach and Manchester City is set to expire at the end of the next season.

Guardiola recently dismissed rumors about leaving Manchester City after the end of the current season.

According to journalist Frank Linkesch from Kicker, Bayern Munich's management is interested in bringing Guardiola back as the head coach to replace the current manager Thomas Tuchel, who will be leaving the club at the end of the current season.
