Manchester City Phil Foden has been named the PFA Players’ Player of the Year at the PFA Awards on Tuesday evening.
The City midfielder was voted as the standout player of last season as he had a significant performance in City winning a fourth consecutive Premier League title, scoring 19 times and providing eight assists. He became the youngest player to have won six league titles.
Foden scored 27 goals from 53 appearances across all competitions last season, as City also won the UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup while reaching the quarter-finals of the Champions League and the final of the FA Cup.
