Football clubs Manchester United and Manchester City are under investigation for potential manipulation regarding the ages of young players, according to The Telegraph.
Sources indicate that there are concerns about at least three foreign-born footballers, including Bassirou Nkoto and Douka Nkoto from Manchester United. They joined the club’s under-14 team in 2022.
Currently, Manchester United sit in 13th place in the English Premier League with 37 points, while Manchester City are in 5th place with 48 points.
In their next matches, Manchester United will play away against Nottingham Forest, and Manchester City will host Leicester City. Both games are scheduled for April 2.
