English Premier League (EPL) club Manchester United officially announced the signing of 20-year-old striker Rasmus Højlund, whose latest club was Atalanta.
Earlier, the media reported that the Dane will sign a five-year deal with Manchester with an option to prolong it for another season. United will reportedly pay more than €70 million for Højlund transfer.
The Danish player spent only one season with "The Goddess", having moved from Austrian Sturm in August 2022. Hojlund played 32 matches in Serie A in the 2022/2023 season, where he scored nine goals and made two assists. Moreover, the forward scored six goals in four matches of the Danish national team's selection for Euro 2024.
