Laurent Blanc has left the post of Lyon's manager by mutual consent of the parties, as reported by the official website of the club.
The former manager of PSG and the French national team led Lyon since October last year. After four rounds of Ligue 1 Blanc's wards were at the bottom of the standings of the French championship, gaining only one point. Last season Lyon took seventh place in Ligue 1.
Gennaro Gattuso, Graham Potter, Oliver Glasner and Julen Lopetegui are among the contenders for the vacant post in the French club. Blanc became the fourth coach sacked from Lyon since October 2019.
