Paris Saint-Germain and Argentina forward Lionel Messi will receive a generous offer that should convince him to move to Saudi Arabia. This was reported by the French newspaper L'Equipe.
According to the source, there will be a long-term agreement with the 35-year-old striker. Earlier in March, the Daily Mirror reported on Al-Hilal's desire to sign Messi as an answer to Al-Nassr's contract with Portuguese striker Cristiano Ronaldo. The Riyadh-based club is willing to pay Messi 220 million euros a year.
On May 2, L'Equipe already wrote that Messi will leave the Parisian club at the end of the 2022/2023 season. The management of the Red-and-Blues were unhappy with the fact that the 2022 World Champion left PSG for Saudi Arabia without any notice after the match of the 33rd round of the French championship with Lorient (1-3).
Messi played 28 games in the current Ligue 1 season, scoring 15 goals and providing the same number of assists.
