Real Madrid's 38-year-old Croatian midfielder Luka Modric will leave the Spanish team at the end of the season-2023/24, according to Sport.
According to the source, the management of the Madrid club has decided not to offer a new agreement to the Croatian footballer, whose contract ends next summer.
Also agent Borja Couce, who represents the interests of Real Madrid midfielder, commented on the possible transition of Modric to one of the clubs from Saudi Arabia.
The Croatian midfielder has been playing for Real Madrid since 2012. Modric is a five-time winner of the UEFA Champions League, silver and bronze medalist of the World Cup, as well as the winner of the Ballon d'Or.
This season Modric played 18 matches for Real Madrid in all tournaments, in which he made two assists. The player's current contract with the club runs until the end of the season-2023/24. Transfermarkt website estimates his transfer value at €10 million.
