Spanish Marca reported that Liverpool is showing an active interest in French PSG striker Kylian Mbappé.
According to the source, the English club is ready to pay $300 million for the player's transfer. Real Madrid is another contender for the forward. The club intends to sign Mbappé in the summer of 2024, when he becomes a free agent.
The 24-year-old striker is a five-time champion of France. He won the 2018 World Cup as part of the national team, winning the award for the best young player in the championship. Transfermarkt estimates the market value of Mbappé at €180 million.
Last season, the forward played 43 matches for the Parisian club, in which he scored 41 goals and made ten assists. He is the top scorer in the history of Paris Saint-Germain.
