According to Anfield Watch, Liverpool are targeting the acquisition of 25-year-old forward Julian Alvarez, who currently plays for Atletico Madrid.
Reports suggest that Atletico intend to cash in at least £100 million (around €119 million) from the clubs interested in the Argentine striker.
It has been noted that the Reds may propose including their forward Darwin Nunez in the deal for Alvarez. Liverpool value the Uruguayan player at £80 million (approximately €95.2 million).
This season, Alvarez has appeared in 43 matches across all competitions, scoring 22 goals and providing five assists. His contract with the club runs until the summer of 2030. Transfermarkt estimates the player's transfer value to be around €80 million.
