According to Fabrizio Romano, Liverpool has agreed to sell Fábio Carvalho to Brentford for £20 million plus add-ons.
The deal in place between the two clubs is on a long-term contract, and medicals are to be booked as soon as the final paperwork are being completed before the formal statement.
Carvalho was expected to feature this season for the Reds after apparently impressing Arne Slot over on the pre-season tour. However, a decision has been made, and the former Fulham man will sign for Brentford.
