He emphasized that he never aimed to surpass their incredible achievements; instead, he wanted to get closer to them in terms of results or at least outdo them in some aspects of the game.
According to the Polish player, his goal was to have his name mentioned alongside Ronaldo and Messi during award ceremonies.
Lewandowski has been playing for the Blaugrana since July 2022 and has participated in 112 matches for the Catalan club, scoring 78 goals and providing 19 assists.
Earlier, Lewandowski mentioned in an interview with Sport.es that he would like to finish his playing career at Barcelona.
