Leeds and Burnley have officially secured their places in the next season of the English Premier League following the results of the 44th round.
Both clubs achieved wins in their 44th-round matches. Leeds triumphed with a 6-0 victory over Stoke City, while Burnley defeated Sheffield United 2-1. Both teams now have 94 points, allowing them to advance to the Premier League with two rounds left in the season.
Despite losing to Burnley in today’s match, Sheffield United have secured a spot in the playoff round for promotion to the Premier League.
Burnley will return to the elite division of English football after a year away, while Leeds were relegated to the Championship in the 2022/2023 season.
