President of the French Football Federation (FFF) Noel Le Graet, previously accused of harassment, has resigned, the organization's press service said.
RMC Sport reported in January 2023 that the FFF executive committee decided to suspend Le Graet from his position, as well as to conduct an inspection. Earlier, football agent Sonia Sueid had accused Le Graet of sexual harassment.
Le Graet had previously spoken harshly about former Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane in an interview, noting that he would not have picked up the phone if the former France international had called him. The official later apologized to the former player.
