Barcelona president Joan Laporta has spoken out about the return of French PSG Argentine striker Lionel Messi to the Catalan club.
The Barcelona president talked to the fans before the Blaugrana's match against Getafe in round 29 of the Spanish championship. One of the fans asked the official whether Messi would return to the club, and the answer was positive.
Messi played for Barcelona from July 2005 until August 2021. The striker played 778 games for the club, scoring 672 goals and giving 303 assists.
The Argentine played 69 matches for Paris Saint-Germain, scoring 31 goals and giving 33 assists. Transfermarkt portal estimates the transfer value of the forward at 45 million euros.
