The management of Juventus Turin intends to terminate the labor contract with midfielder Paul Pogba if the player does not prove his innocence in the doping case.
This became known to the Italian edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport. Pogba passed a doping test on August 20 after the 1st round match of the Italian championship with Udinese (3:0). The sample tested positive for elevated levels of testosterone, which boosts endurance.
The National anti-doping tribunal of Italy temporarily disqualified Pogba for the duration of the proceedings. It is noted that the player faces up to four years of suspension from football for violating anti-doping rules.
