Journalist Nizaar Kinsella announced on his social media that Dutch head coach Erik ten Hag will leave Manchester United at the end of the current season.
According to the journalist, the executives at Manchester United are preparing to part ways with the head coach because the team's results under ten Hag do not meet the expectations of the club's new owners.
Ten Hag took over the team in April 2022, transitioning from Ajax. Under his guidance, Manchester United has played 108 matches in all competitions, winning 65, drawing 14, and losing 29.
In the current Premier League season, Manchester United is in sixth place with 53 points from 33 matches, 13 points away from the Champions League qualification zone. Additionally, the team was eliminated from the current tournament, finishing last in Group A.
Earlier, Erik ten Hag admitted that he is not concerned about rumors of a possible dismissal from Manchester United and expressed confidence that he will remain the coach of the team in the following season.
