Italian midfielder Jorginho will continue his career at Arsenal, with the player and his current club agreeing to extend his contract until the summer of 2025.
The Italian national team midfielder has been playing for the Gunners since January 2023. In 51 matches for Arsenal across all competitions, Jorginho scored one goal and made three assists.
The extension of the contract with the 32-year-old player was officially announced on Arsenal's website. The terms of the deal are not disclosed.
Following his transfer to Arsenal, head coach Mikel Arteta called Jorginho an intelligent midfielder with leadership qualities. Former Liverpool player El-Hadji Diouf expressed the opinion that Arsenal will be the champion in the current EPL season.
