According to Sportskeeda, Manchester United approached Inter Milan's head coach Simone Inzaghi with an offer to lead the club.
The discussions between the two parties took place back in December, with Inzaghi ultimately deciding to remain in his current position. It is expected that the Italian coach will negotiate a new contract with his current club. Inzaghi has been in charge of Inter since 2021, leading the team to three Serie A titles and two Italian Cup victories.
Manchester United is currently in sixth place in the English Premier League standings, trailing Tottenham (fifth place) and Aston Villa (fourth place) by six and eight points respectively. According to CaughtOffside, the management of the English club is considering several candidates to replace the current head coach, Erik ten Hag.
