British striker Harry Kane commented on his brace against Lazio (3:0) in the Champions League Round of 16 match, which helped Munich secure a home victory and advance to the next round of the tournament.
Kane was quoted as saying on the official UEFA website:
I'm pleased with the two goals. As a striker, you're judged on goals and assists, in big matches especially, in knockout stages like tonight.

The Munich forward added that he is satisfied with his performance this season and expressed confidence that Bayern as a team can achieve more.
Kane joined Bayern from Tottenham last summer. In the current season, Harry has scored 33 goals and provided 8 assists in 33 matches in all competitions.
Kane has broken several scoring records: the player became the first in the history of the German championships to score 15 goals in 10 starting matches of the tournament, and after the match against Lazio, he became the first British player to score more than 50 goals in UEFA tournaments.
Earlier it became known that Bayern's head coach Thomas Tuchel may leave the club before the end of his contract. At the moment, Munich is in second place in the Bundesliga, and various sources claim that there is a toxic atmosphere within the German team.
