Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola responded to questions about the strength of Real Madrid ahead of the UEFA Champions League quarter-final play-off second leg.
The first leg between the last two winners of the top European club competition at the Santiago Bernabeu ended in a 3-3 draw.
Guardiola said to Marca:
I think Real Madrid is always an exceptional team, both last season and this season. Madrid always has a good team. This is my feeling. I know when I say good things about Madrid, people in Madrid don't believe me. I always had good opinions about Real Madrid and its history.
Guardiola also refrained from asserting that Manchester City has already secured the Premier League title.
