Manchester City's head coach, Pep Guardiola, shared his opinion on the favorites for the upcoming European Football Championship.
Guardiola's words were reported by journalist Víctor Navarro on social media:
There will still be some surprises but Germany, as hosts, may be favorites. Spain has made a generational change and England, obviously. They still need to take that step, but they are getting closer. They [England] are very close and have a very good generation from the center of the field forward.
The opening match of Euro 2024 will be held on June 14th at the Allianz Arena stadium in Munich. The hosts of the tournament, the Germany national team, will face Scotland. The match will begin at 21:00 GMT+3.
