Manchester City head coach Josep Guardiola has spoken out about his job at the club should it be sanctioned for breaching financial fair-play.

The Manchester Evening News quotes Guardiola as saying:

We are innocent until guilt is proved. I will wait. Wait and see it and after the sentence has been done we will come here and explain it. But absolutely I will not consider my future [if] it depends being here or being in League One. There is more chance to stay if we are in League One than if we win the Champions League.

After 12 rounds of the current season of the EPL Guardiola's team tops the standings with 28 points.

Recall, a case of 115 violations of financial fair-play by the "citizens" is currently under consideration. The club faces elimination from the EPL. Chelsea are also facing similar charges for fraudulent transfers with the help of companies linked to Roman Abramovich.

Earlier, Everton lost ten points this season for similar violations.
