Manchester City head coach Pep Guardiola has spoken out over rumors of his leaving the club if financial irregularities are proven.
The media had previously reported that the Spaniard would step down as coach of the Citizens if the English Premier League manages to prove that the club is guilty of irregularities.
I'm not leaving this place, I want to stay. I am certain of that more than ever. The club didn't lie to me. Look at what happened with the UEFA investigation, we did nothing wrong. Why shouldn't I trust my people?

Earlier it became known that the EPL accused Manchester City of numerous violations of financial fair play.
A four-year investigation found that the Citizens violated the rules from the 2009/10 season through the 2017/18 season.
Since 2009, Manchester City has won the championship six times. This season, the team is second in the standings with 45 points and are the reigning champions.
