Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has spoken about his team's chances of continuing their dominance in the Premier League.
Since 2018, Manchester City have won five of the last six Premier League titles, only relinquishing the trophy to Liverpool in 2020. The Citizens currently sit just one point behind the Reds in the table this season.
The Guardian quotes Guardiola as saying:
Eighties was Liverpool, 90s was United and now we are for many years, winning seven Premier Leagues in the past decade, 11, 12 years, but it’s happened. In 50, 60 years there’s never ever been one country, been one club, that has completely controlled and dominated everything. We try in this organisation to extend for many years what we are trying to do.
Earlier, ex-Barcelona defender Gerard Pique called Guardiola the best coach in the history of football. Josep himself admitted that he considers Rodri the strongest midfielder in the world at the moment.
