According to FourFourTwo, Manchester City striker Erling Haaland, who also plays for the Norway national team, may change clubs in the summer of 2025.
The 23-year-old City star is not considering a move to los Blancos, like French forward Kylian Mbappe from Paris Saint-Germain. Instead, Haaland has identified another La Liga team, Barcelona, as a potential destination. However, a key obstacle is the player's price. Transfermarkt estimates him at 180 million euros, and Barcelona is currently facing financial difficulties.
In the 2023/2024 season, Haaland scored 27 goals and provided five assists in 31 Premier League matches, and he netted six goals with one assist in nine Champions League games. The striker's current contract with Manchester City runs until the end of June 2027, and the club's management is keen to extend the agreement with the Norwegian player.
