A current investigation has revealed that former Cardiff City and Wales Footballer Keith Pontin who died on August 2020 was a victim of dementia that was induced by the head trauma. Technically the condition has been labeled as CTE also known as Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy(CTE). The footballer was active in the 80s when football was much more physical and the clashing of heads in the air was much more common as players fought for the ball.
