The court acquitted the former head coach of the French PSG Christophe Galtier, currently in charge of Qatar's Al-Duhail, in a case of racial discrimination.
Footmercato reported the news. Last season, the video analyst of Nice testified against Galtier, saying that the former coach of the team called dark-skinned players "King Kongs". Earlier it was reported that in 2021, Galtier told the club's sports director Julien Fournier during his work in Nice that the team should not have so many Muslims and dark-skinned players.
It is noted that the court of Nice fully dropped all charges against the 57-year-old specialist on both incidents. The reason for the denial of charges was the lack of evidence in each of the alleged offenses. Recall, Galtier faced imprisonment for up to three years and a fine of about €45 thousand.
