Reputable periodical FourFourTwo published a rating of the most hated people in football. Former Manchester City midfielder Joey Barton led the list. The player's numerous acts of aggression on the field and off it were the reason for including him.
The top three included former FIFA president Joseph Blatter, who was involved in the biggest corruption scandal in world football, as well as former German national team goalkeeper Harald Schumacher.
Cristiano Ronaldo, Jose Mourinho, Luis Suarez and John Terry also made the top ten.
Earlier, the Portuguese striker of Al-Nassr laughed in response to not being in the top 10 of the world's best players in 2023. Ronaldo also laughed at the proposal to move to Arsenal (London).
