Luis Enrique, the head coach of PSG, has criticized Xavi Hernandez's work with FC Barcelona.

Enrique's words were reported by Barca Universal:

Barça are not a dominant team, and they have zero defensive qualities. They only play long balls, Ter Stegen broke the record for long balls. They play like Eibar!

This statement from the Spanish coach was included in a documentary about Barcelona filmed last season.

On May 24, the press service of the Blaugrana announced that Xavi was officially relieved of his duties. The Spaniard had been at the helm of Barcelona since 2021.

Under his management, the team won the La Liga title and the Supercopa de España. The new head coach of the Catalan team is German manager Hans-Dieter Flick.

According to AS, Xavi was disappointed by comments from club president Joan Laporta, who stated that Barcelona has poor physical condition last season.

The 44-year-old former coach of the Blaugrana refrained from specifying the reasons for his departure from the club.
