Former Argentine President Mauricio Macri commented on the favorites for the upcoming 2022 World Cup in Qatar, mentioning the German national football team.

Five World Cup favorites? Obviously Brazil and Argentina. Portugal and France have very good players. And, of course, Germany, who can never be excluded from the favorites because they are the superior race. They always play until the end.

Mauricio Macri, quoted by La Nacion

The World Cup in Qatar will be held from Nov. 20 to Dec. 18. The host country will face Ecuador in the tournament's opening match. The game will take place on November 20 and will begin at 4 p.m. GMT.

Team Germany will play in Group E, which also includes Spain, Japan and Costa Rica. At the 2018 World Cup in Russia, the German national team couldn't get past the group stage.
