EPL club Everton, who were previously fined 10 points by the league for violating financial fair-play, may be stripped of nine more points, the Daily Mail reports.

According to the source, clubs Leeds, Leicester and Burnley have filed a class action lawsuit against the Toffees in order to claim £300 million.

The action of the teams is related to the fact that the Toffees were found guilty of violating the rules of financial fair-play in the period up to the end of the season-2021/22 and lost ten points in the current season of the English Premier League (EPL).

The rivals are unhappy that a decision regarding Everton was not made at the end of last season. Leeds and Leicester believe that in that case they would not have dropped into the Championship. Burnley believe that Everton's manipulations led to the club's departure from the EPL at the end of the 2020/2021 season.

Recall, in early 2023, the head coach of Real Madrid Carlo Ancelotti also sued Everton.
