Another game day has passed at Euro 2024 in Germany. The teams from Group A played on Sunday, June 23. The fourth team to officially qualify for the playoffs was determined on this day.
Germany and Switzerland played to a 1-1 draw in the Group A leaders' match. The Germans were saved thanks to Niclas Füllkrug's goal in extra time. This draw guaranteed Switzerland's second place and a playoff spot
In the other match Hungary beat Scotland 1-0, scoring the winning goal in the 90+10 minute! Thanks to this success the Hungarians gained 3 points, took the third place in Group A and kept their chances to qualify for the Round of 16.
