Paris Saint-Germain forward Ousmane Dembele has achieved a remarkable scoring record in 2025, surpassing the previous milestone set by Lionel Messi.

In a recent match during the 24th round of French Ligue 1, Luis Enrique's team triumphed over Lille with a score of 4:1, and Dembele scored his 18th goal of the calendar year.

This achievement marks the highest number of goals recorded in the 21st century before March 1. Dembele has broken the Argentine's record, who scored 17 goals until spring in 2016 while playing for Barcelona.

Earlier, Ousmane Dembele stated that he aims to retire from professional football at the age of 34.
