Journalist Fabrizio Romano has reported that FC Barcelona has made a new proposal to RB Leipzig regarding the transfer of forward Dani Olmo. This marks yet another attempt by the Catalan club to acquire the player.
The Spanish international has reportedly already agreed to a six-year contract with Barcelona. The new offer from the Blaugrana to RB Leipzig includes a fixed sum of 55 million euros, along with an additional 7 million euros in bonuses.
Previously, RB Leipzig had rejected Barcelona's offer of 40 million euros along with 20 million euros in bonuses, as the German club was not satisfied with the proposed payment structure that involved partial payments.
Dani Olmo has been with RB Leipzig since January 2020. During his time there, he has participated in 148 matches, scoring 29 goals and providing 34 assists. His contract with the German club runs until the end of June 2027, and his market value is estimated at 60 million euros according to Transfermarkt.
Earlier, it was reported that Barcelona had given an ultimatum to Athletic Bilbao and Spanish national team player Nico Williams regarding his potential transfer.
